Event - St Cecilia’s welcomes two new Sisters

On Sunday, February 4th, the parish welcomed to new Sisters to our community. Sister Teresa and Sister Clara will be working with our Hispanic Community every Sunday with the option of increasing their presence in the future. Both Sisters are from the worldwide Order of the Congregation of the Poor Clare Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament (Clarisas).

The Sisters will be present at the Sunday 11:00am Mass in English as Extroadinary Ministers of Holy Communion and will work in the area of Youth Ministry and Family Counseling. We hope that through their presence some of our young women will choose to enter their community as consecrated religious.

Thanks to the Hispanic Council and Community that welcomed our Sisters with great joy! May God grant many blessings to us all through their love and service.
