Children Faith Formation
The life of every Catholic, from childhood to adulthood, is about being formed in the image of Christ. Such a process of formation is always new and never ends! Attending Sunday Mass, daily prayer, conversation about Jesus and reading Scripture are essential. We need the Eucharist – the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ – to help us stand firmly with one another in our faith and become the followers of Christ that we are called to by our baptism. The family is the first forum in which the mission of evangelization takes place. Parents are recognized as having the primary responsibility for training their children in the practice of the faith (Vatican II, The Church in the Modern World.)
You are invited to register your children in our Catholic Children Faith Formation programs where the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church will be taught. With your cooperation, the Children Faith Formation program will assist you in this sacred duty by providing opportunities for parents and children to develop their prayer lives and their formal understanding of the Catholic faith. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to having your children in our program.
To nurture our children’s development to be good Catholics, we need to invest our time for them at our parish as well. We also hope that you will continue to be involved by volunteering to help as a Catechist or with security watch when classes are in session. Please bring your children to Saturday Vigil or Sunday Mass every weekend so they can practice their faith. Our children’s future will be great because each one of you cares for them and cares about their faith and the values we share in the Church.
We are very grateful to all of you for your love, support, and generosity to our parish. May God bless you and your family always!
