Youth Ministry
Welcome to our Youth Ministry page on the web and thank you for visiting
us. As we journey in our faith through this world called high school,
life can sometimes be hectic, judgmental, confusing, contradictory, and
just plain hard. We need the support of others that share our same
morals and beliefs.
St. Cecilia’s Youth Ministry strives to be that support for you as you
navigate between obstacles of life while maintaining and growing your faith. Our
goal is to create a welcoming place that no matter who you are, where you are
in your journey, and where you see yourself fitting in, you are loved and accepted
as the creation that God formed with His own hands. We offer many different
activities to allow you to live out your faith as well as learn how to make your
faith a part of your every day life. It is not something that you pick
up on Sunday before Mass and put down before you go to bed that evening. Our
Faith is a part of us and therefore we must learn to rely on it as well as nurture
and cherish it. Sometimes figuring out how our faith fits into our daily
lives can be a challenge but by walking together we can learn from one another
and be support for those that need us. Youth Ministry allows us all to
come together in our journey to find others that we may teach, learn from, support,
and most importantly, walk together with.
The youth are our future but even more to the point, they are our present. God
has so many gifts and experiences just waiting for us if we have the courage
to open our eyes and our hearts to Him. I invite you to journey with us
as we experience God through Service, Spiritual, and Social activities. The
friends that you make now can last a lifetime.
We are still under construction so be sure to come back often to see the changes
and progress that we are making. We look forward to seeing your smiling
face and be sure to bring a friend along for the adventure we call ministry.
